You will be accountable and empowered to drive business impact as the Single Threaded Leader of increasing supply. In this role, you will lead a high-performing cross-functional product development team to define how we win within this space. Your focus is on accelerating growth and innovation in consumer supply.

Your Area of Influence

Concretely, you will lead a cross-functional team of 10+ specialists, including the engineering manager and engineers, a designer, and a product manager, in building features and experiences that help customers sell their electronic devices to Swappie. You’ll explore and scale how we leverage AI to make our device valuation and supply processes even more automated and accurate. You will navigate the core product management challenges every day: Do customers want it? Can it work for the business? Can we design it? And can we build it?

In this role, you will:

• Lead Discovery & Delivery: Help the team identify the most critical problems and business opportunities. You’ll ensure we don’t just build features, but deliver validated solutions that yield measurable outcomes for our customers and the business.

• Coach for Impact: Directly lead and coach your core team consisting of an Engineering Manager, Product Manager, Designer, and Analyst. You’ll move seamlessly from high-level strategy to deep-dive details to challenge and elevate a team that is already strong and independent.

• Drive Ownership: Foster a high-ownership culture where accountability is clear and psychological safety is at the heart of the team. Instead of just managing, you empower your people to take full responsibility for their work, creating an environment of autonomy, mastery, and purpose.

• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the VP of Supply, CMO, VP of Operations, and Head of Customer Service to ensure the product strategy is perfectly synced with pricing, marketing, and C2B operations. You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of Payments & Logistics to streamline the trade-in experience and the Head of Demand to optimize shared surfaces, such as the homepage, to drive trade-in conversion.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Experience Leading Teams/Leaders: You’ve successfully led cross-functional teams (e.g., as a Head of, Director, or Founder) and are comfortable managing other managers.

• Technical & Product Fluency: You have a solid background in Product Management and/or Engineering, with a proven track record of building consumer-facing products. You can speak both "languages" fluently and understand the trade-offs between speed, quality, and business viability.

• Ownership & Stakeholder Leadership: You thrive with clear business targets and take full accountability for your domain’s success. You are not afraid to dive deep, roll up your sleeves and get things done. You have the strong influence and collaboration skills needed to align diverse teams across a complex environment and are a compelling communicator in English, our company language.

Nice-to-Have / Can Be Developed On the Job:

• Domain Expertise: Prior experience in C2B, reverse logistics, refurbished electronics, or circular business models.

• Specialized Fluency: While you don't need to be a practitioner, a good grasp of Analytics and Design principles will help you lead the team’s specialists more effectively.

Practicalities

📍 Location: Helsinki (Hybrid). We are remote-first, but believe in the power of meeting in person regularly. You’ll join us in Helsinki for quarterly planning, design sprints, and team bonding. You should also be prepared for quarterly travel to our operations sites in Tallinn or Leipzig for key feature launches.
